| JSpamFilter can block messages containing particular attachment types. |
|
|
|
If you want to keep particular attachment types from your users,
merely add them to the JSpamFilter.conf file.
|
| This is particularly relevant to educational environments where teachers want to allow text communications,
but may not want to allow students to send or receive attached files. Discouraging sending attachments also cuts down on
network traffic. |
| Many types of attachments are of a legacy file type and are, in practice, really only used as a means for distributing viruses and malware. |
